What is the Kindness Relay?

The Kindness Relay is a simple initiative powered by physical cards designed to track and celebrate kindness. When someone makes your day, they receive a card as a thank you. Each card features a unique QR code that links to our website, allowing people to log their moment to our kindness map before passing the card along.

Over time, each card’s journey creates a map of how kindness moves from place to place. There is nothing to sign up for, and we never collect personal details. If you’re holding a card, it’s simply because someone noticed your kindness.

How do the cards work?

It all starts when someone orders a set of 25 cards (for free!). The person hands them out to kickstart the chain, and the relay begins. Whoever gives or receives a card can scan the QR code to log the interaction and watch the card’s journey grow on our global Kindness Map.

What should I do if I receive a card?

First, take a moment to smile — you received it because you did something wonderful. Next, scan the QR code on the back to log the moment and add your link to our Kindness Map. Finally, keep the relay going by passing the card on to the next person you see doing something kind.

Nope! Just open your smartphone’s camera, scan the QR code, and it will take you straight to our website. No downloads or accounts required.
